Master of Philosophy
I am a qualified bioanalyst and have also completed a Master of Philosophy degree at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology at the University of Tampere. I am part of a research group, which works with paediatric brain tumours. I have carried out skin laser treatments for several years, and I have experience in patient work since 2009.
I find the interactive capacity to encounter the patient’s unique need for treatment to be particularly important in my work. In my opinion, hearing and acknowledging the patient’s wishes and objectives are the foundation of high-quality work. I have realised that laser treatment improves many patients’ quality of life. In my opinion, a laser is an elegant tool for treating skin problems.
I carry out the removals of excessive hair and tattoos. Booking a tattoo laser treatment appointment at my reception requires a physician’s referral. Aesthetic laser hair removal can be booked without an appointment, but if laser treatment is needed for medical reasons, a referral is needed.
In addition to laser treatments, I assist dermatologists with IntelliStudio® mole imaging. I also provide advice about our treatments over the phone.
