Epilaser works in collaboration with Pihlajalinna Koskiklinikka. Finland’s most comprehensive skin laser therapy services are available at Tampere. Treatment is administered by skin specialists and nurses who have laser therapy qualifications. In addition to this, we carry out IntelliStudio® mole imaging of the entire skin surface for melanoma screening purposes.
Booking
The dermatologist can usually carry out the laser treatment already during the first appointment. A 15-minute appointment is booked for the treatment. A laser therapy appointment or consultation appointment is booked by calling the appointment booking number 010 312149 or using the online booking service.
Laser nurse’s treatments
A physician’s referral, which can be provided by Epilaser’s physician, is required for treatments carried out by a laser nurse.
IntelliStudio® mole imaging
For personal laser consultation, you can also book a remote appointment. A 30-minute appointment with our nurse (Sallamari Henttinen) is booked for IntelliStudio® mole imaging.
Skin Specialists Ari and Toni Karppinen
Skin specialists MD Ari Karppinen and MD Toni Karppinen are responsible for the skin laser treatments offered at Koskiklinikka. Our laser nurses also carry out hair, tattoo and nail fungus treatments and RF treatments with a physician’s referral.
Most raised moles that bother patients can be removed by laser without invasive surgery. Laser can be used to remove dozens of changes at once. The advantage of laser treatment is a quick, aesthetic result and short recovery time.
