Specialist in dermatology and allergology, specialist in occupational health care, MD
I graduated as a doctor from the University of Oulu in 2008 and as a specialist in dermatology and allergology also from Oulu in 2023. I am also a specialist in occupational health care.
I work in the private sector in Oulu and Kokkola Mehiläinen and Oulu Ihoterveys. I treat all kinds of patients in the specialty field of dermatology, and I have a special interest in atopic dermatitis and skin diseases that affect the ability to work. I am doing research on contact allergies. My job description includes a lot of examination and treatment of various skin changes, either by traditional cutting or laser.
I have been doing laser treatments for years, first during my specialization at OYS and now at Oulu Mehiläinen through Epilaser. I do all kinds of laser treatments, including treatments for vascular changes, removal of benign skin changes, hair removal and scar repair treatments.
Usually, for treatment planning, I first ask for an evaluation time. Treatments that do not require anesthesia, such as vascular laser treatments, can be done in the same visit if necessary.
