No signs of a face tattoo after six treatment sessions.
A young male customer of ours had large, black-toned amateur tattoos on his face that bothered him. We were able to remove the tattoos entirely with a series of six treatment sessions with a Q-switched ruby laser. The patient was able to withstand the pain caused by the laser treatment, and as a follow-up reaction, scabs and blistering developed for 1-2 weeks.
The tattoos were removed completely, and not a sign of them was left on the skin because they were made by an amateur. If made by a professional, those large tattoos may have required double the number of removal sessions, but in amateur tattoos, the ink is more superficial.
